On my Feet 8-10 hours a day & 70 lbs. over weight.
I am a Manager of a grocery store. We are on our feet 8-10 hours on concrete floors, these shoes are great.Normally the new shoes are always wonderful to wear but nothing like these have I worn for 40 years in Retail.
Great shoe
My husband has plantar fascitis. His heels were hurting him terribly. He is on his feet all day at work and we had tried every over the counter insole available, and, a custom made orthotic insole that actually made the pain worse. We had tried Nike, New Balance, Propet, Dr. Scholls, and Reebok shoes and didn't get any relief with any of them. These Spira shoes in a wide width (E) provided relief. The problem isn't entirely healed, he still experiences pain daily. But I have absolutely no doubt that if not for these shoes he would not be able to work right now. He has been wearing them for about six weeks and I can't anticipate ever buying another brand of work shoe for him. Will probably invest in a pair for everyday also.
Great Shoe
Shoes are comfortable to wear without transmitting walking force to my back,and hips, also my legs don't tier as quickly.

I bought these shoes because of all of the hype that they are comfortable. I am on my feet most of the day. I wore them for 2 days and I had to take them off because the shoes only caused pain and agony to my feet. The concept is good about the springs. The reality is that the springs are very hard and have no give. I tried these shoes off and on for a month. I even went to the store and bought padded inserts. The inserts didn't help either. I tried everything I could think of to help make them comfortable. Nothing worked! I just didn't want to throw away a pair of shoes that I had spent so much money on. The bottom line is that I would never buy another pair of Spira shoes.
Teacher loves Spira
I walk 2.5 miles a day to my school where I teach first grade. I'm on my feet all day. I'm 59 years old and regularly wow my first graders with vertical jumps on to tables in the room to emphasize a point or just to liven things up. I wear Spiras and wouldn't want to work a day without them. There's just nothing out there to compare with them. They are the best!
